The Freeland Cares Fund

The Freeland Cares Fund helps employees or eligible dependents who are experiencing economic hardship and are unable to afford housing, utilities, and other basic living needs because of a natural disaster; life-threatening illness or injury; death or other catastrophic or extreme circumstances beyond the employee’s control.

All Freeland Management (and affiliated companies) employees who are 1) regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week; 2) currently employed by Freeland; 3) employed for at least one year prior to this application; and 4) actively employed or on approved leave of absence having worked 20 hours a week prior to the leave are eligible to apply for The Freeland Cares Assistance Fund. If the employee has passed away, then a spouse or eligible dependent may apply. An employee can only be approved for assistance once within a 12-month period.
