BMI Care and Assistance Fund

The BMI Care and Assistance Fund has been established in response to the flooding in our area. BMI employees may apply for up to $2,500 from the Fund to help alleviate financial hardship as a result of the natural disaster. The Fund will continue to remain open and be available to employees for other types of qualifying catastrophic events. Applications will be evaluated exclusively by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and must meet IRS criteria for "financial hardship" and other parameters, therefore all applications may not be approved. Grant awards through this Fund are not considered income and are therefore not taxable. The Fund also allows company employees the opportunity to participate in this effort by making tax deductible contributions to the Fund in support of fellow employees who have experienced such a hardship. Below you will find an application to the Fund, including instructions on how to apply for each qualifying circumstance.
