The Steps To Get Started With Our Scholarship Application Process:

1. Review the scholarship timeline below for important dates.

2. Before you access the application, click "Find Scholarships" to review all scholarship eligibility criteria for our more than 100 different scholarships, to find one for which you are eligible:

3. Next, read the “How to Apply” instructions completely before accessing the application. If you are renewing a scholarship, read the “How to Renew” instructions completely.

4. Finally, start your application by clicking the “Apply Now” buttons in the “How to Apply” or “How to Renew” sections of our website.

The Community Foundation Scholarship Timeline:


   Janary 26

Scholarship applications are available to the general public.

   February-Mid March

Complete and submit online scholarship application, along with all support materials to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

   March 15, 2017

Last day applications are accepted. Closes at 11:59 p.m.

   Late April

Scholarship Committee meets and selects recipients.

   Mid May

Applicants notified, by mail, about Committee’s decisions.

   Late May - Mid July

Final materials received from all recipients.

   Late July

Checks are sent to the institutions.
