Please join us for a night filled with good music, good company, drinks and light hors d'oeuvres, all to benefit the Howard A. Clark Horticulture Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $40/person and donations will be welcome at the door. If you are unable to attend but still wish to contribute, you can do so through the following link: DONATE
Howard Clark loved nature and he loved the land, and in return, the land provided his livelihood for more than 40 years. Growing up in a poor and uneducated family, Howard worked the land from the age of 12. He taught himself everything he eventually achieved in the nursery business, but often said that he would have jumped at the chance for an education to aid him along his path. The Howard A. Clark Horticulture Scholarship Fund provides help to a graduating senior from Avery County High School who desires to continue their education in the field of Horticulture or Agriculture. Now someone else will be given the opportunity Howard was never provided.
