2013 Shoney's 5K Family Fun Run & Walk

The 5th Annual Shoney’s 5K Family Fun Run & Festival is open to the public, and proceeds will benefit the Metropolitan Nashville Police Support Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The Fund is designed to support employee development and training for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department; to support projects to strengthen relations between the police department and the Nashville community; and to assist in securing equipment that enhances service to the community.
On Saturday, June 1, festivities kick off bright and early with registration beginning at 7 a.m. The 5K run will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the kids fun run/walk and awards ceremony. Lace up your sneakers and join in the excitement!
After the run, there will be a fun festival and kids’ zone with FREE activities for the kids and live music located next to LP Field in Lot T at Victory Avenue, adjacent to the Shelby Street Bridge, Nashville, TN. Activities will include giant inflatables, face painting, balloon artist, an appearance by Shoney Bear®, a police cruiser, members of the Nashville Police S.W.A.T. Team, the Nashville Police Bomb Team and their Bomb Robot, a Police Helicopter & much more.
Online registration is open until May 31 at 5 p.m. CST, and race-day registration is available on June 1.
