A Wine Benefit & Silent Auction Supporting the Chad Welch Memorial Fund

This year’s “Sip, Support and Celebrate” was an affair to remember, featuring a variety of high-end wines complemented by hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction – all while remembering Chad Welch and continuing his fight against cancer by supporting leukemia research through the Chad Welch Memorial Fund.

In June 2007, at 30 years old, Chad Welch lost his courageous battle after being diagnosed only twenty-six months earlier. Throughout his illness, Chad not only fought his own disease, but he also became an advocate for the greater fight against leukemia. Team Chad continues his fight and works to support the Fund through a variety of efforts, including this annual event.

Event guests enjoyed wines supplied by Best Brands and Frugal McDougal, and the evening’s winning bidders took home wine for enjoying later, thanks to generous silent auction donors. The event was a huge success in supporting the mission the Chad Welch Memorial Fund.
