How To Be A Gentleman Premiere Party

Benefiting The Brooks Fund of The Community Foundation

Thursday, September 29, 2011
The Belcourt Theatre

2102 Belcourt Avenue
Nashville, TN

Some of Nashville’s finest gentlemen and ladies were in attendance for the premier party of the new CBS sitcom, “How To Be A Gentleman,” based on Nashville writer John Bridges' book “How To Be A Gentleman, A Timely Guide to Timeless Manners.”

The event, held at The Belcourt Theatre on Sept. 29, was hosted by The Brooks Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and proceeds from the event support The Brooks Fund’s mission of encouraging the inclusion, acceptance and recognition of Middle Tennessee's GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) citizens.

Prior to the big screen viewing of the premiere, party-goers enjoyed cocktails and dined on hors d'oeuvres. Attendees also browsed silent auction items, which included a classic martini class taught by Bridges.

“How To Be A Gentleman,” inspired by the book of the same name, is a comedy about the unlikely friendship between a traditional, refined writer and an unrefined personal trainer and airs Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. on the NewsChannel 5 Network.
